Advisory Committees are made up of members from the local community as well as instructors from each of our programs. The community members usually have some connection to the particular trade or filed of study for the committee that they are members for. The purpose of these committees is to discuss how to best teach students to make them marketable to gain employment in their filed, or to go on to higher education. Community involvement is critical to provide feedback to instructors on what employers are looking for in the way of hard and soft skills.
